"The Teltonika TRB142 Industrial Rugged LTE RS232 Gateway enables cellular connectivity for industrial equipment with serial communication interfaces. It supports 4G LTE Cat 1, 3G and 2G networks and includes a DB9 RS232 interface for connecting compatible controllers, meters and other serial devices. The gateway runs RutOS, an OpenWrt-based Linux operating system, and supports industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU and DNP3. Additional features include configurable input/output connections, VPN functionality, firewall protection and remote management compatibility through Teltonika RMS. Its compact aluminium enclosure and 9-30 V DC power input make it suitable for industrial automation, telemetry and remote equipment monitoring."
